ReActivate offers bespoke training and presentations that are developed and facilitated by women with personal understanding and lived experience around mental distress and recovery. ReActivate facilitators offer workshops and training sessions to voluntary organisations such as University students, mental health service users, professionals and local businesses, and community groups. Some of the specialist topics that can be covered are Food & Mood (Wellbeing & Mental Health), stress in the workplace, mental health awareness, understanding eating disorders, stigma and lots more. Workshops and training sessions are written and adapted to meet the needs of the audience.
ReActivate has also been a positive experience for KIM clients, who have been able to use their negative experiences of mental ill health to educate others and gain new respect as experts in their own illness and recovery. It is important for practitioners to understand how their service impacts on their clients and ReActivate can be a vehicle for this, by using positive and constructive processes to look at recovery based practices in organisations.
ReActivate have many fabulous case studies to share with interested parties. Furthermore, ReActivate were recently runners up in the Care Councils Accolade Ceremony in Cardiff for their contribution to informing social work practice.
